AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 3987

    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 3987, AS AMENDED,

with reference to page and line numbers of House Amendment No.

1, as follows:

on page 3, by replacing line 23 with the following:

"to the construction of all residential buildings in the State, 
7
except as provided for in Section 45 of this Act."; and
 
8
on page 6, by replacing line 20 with the following:
9
"standards established pursuant to this Act. However, a 
10
municipality with a population of 1,000,000 or more may 
11
regulate energy efficient building standards for residential 
12
buildings in a manner that is more stringent than the standards 
13
established pursuant to this Act.".
