| 1 | AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 6194

| 2 | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 6194 by replacing | ||||||
| 3 | everything after the enacting clause with the following:

| 4 | "Section 5. The Department of Professional Regulation Law | ||||||
| 5 | of the
Civil Administrative Code of Illinois is amended by | ||||||
| 6 | adding Section 2105-35 as follows: | ||||||
| 7 | (20 ILCS 2105/2105-35 new) | ||||||
| 8 | Sec. 2105-35. Prohibited uses of roster of information. | ||||||
| 9 | Notwithstanding any other provision of law to the contrary, any | ||||||
| 10 | roster of information including, but not limited to, the | ||||||
| 11 | licensee's name, address, and profession, shall not be used by | ||||||
| 12 | a third party for the purpose of marketing goods or services | ||||||
| 13 | not related to the licensee's profession.
| ||||||
| 14 | Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon | ||||||
| 15 | becoming law.".
