| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

| represented in the General Assembly:

| Section 5. The Mercury Switch Removal Act is amended by |

| changing Section 55 as follows:

| (Section scheduled to be repealed on January 1, 2011)

| Sec. 55. Repealer. This Act is repealed on January 1, 2017 |
