Amends the Riverboat Gambling Act and the Liquor Control Act of 1934. Provides that nothing in those Acts or their rules shall be interpreted to prohibit the distribution of free drinks on the gaming floor of a riverboat licensed under the Riverboat Gambling Act. Effective immediately.

| AN ACT concerning gaming.
|

| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|

| represented in the General Assembly:
|

| Section 5. The Riverboat Gambling Act is amended by adding |
5 |
| Section 11.3 as follows: |

| (230 ILCS 10/11.3 new) |
7 |
| Sec. 11.3. Free drinks. Nothing in this Act or its rules |
8 |
| shall be interpreted to prohibit the distribution of free |
9 |
| drinks on the gaming floor of a riverboat licensed under this |
10 |
| Act. |

| Section 10. The Liquor Control Act of 1934 is amended by |
12 |
| adding Section 6-30.1 as follows: |

| (235 ILCS 5/6-30.1 new) |

| Sec. 6-30.1. Free drinks. Nothing in this Act or its rules |
15 |
| shall be interpreted to prohibit the distribution of free |
16 |
| drinks on the gaming floor of a riverboat licensed under the |
17 |
| Riverboat Gambling Act.

| Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon |
19 |
| becoming law.
