| AN ACT concerning local government.
|

| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 |
| represented in the General Assembly:
|

| Section 5. The Illinois Municipal Budget Law is amended by |
| 5 |
| changing Section 4 as follows:
|

| Sec. 4.
The
The failure by any governing body of any |
| 8 |
| municipality to adopt an
annual budget and appropriation |
| 9 |
| ordinance, or to comply in any respect with
the provisions of |
| 10 |
| this Act, shall not affect the validity of any tax levy
of any |
| 11 |
| such municipality, otherwise in conformity with the law. |
