| 1 | AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 2545

| 2 | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 2545 by replacing | ||||||
| 3 | everything after the enacting clause with the following:

| 4 | "Section 5. The Illinois Public Aid Code is amended by | ||||||
| 5 | changing Section 9A-2 as follows: | ||||||
| 6 | (305 ILCS 5/9A-2) (from Ch. 23, par. 9A-2) | ||||||
| 7 | Sec. 9A-2. As used in this Article only, "recipient" means | ||||||
| 8 | only those
persons receiving aid under Article IV for | ||||||
| 9 | themselves and parents who are ineligible to receive TANF for | ||||||
| 10 | themselves because of a criminal conviction, but who are | ||||||
| 11 | receiving aid under Article IV for their children. | ||||||
