SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Chad Alan Krohn of O'Fallon, who passed
4away on September 8, 2010; and
 
5    WHEREAS, He was born January 12, 1988 in Belleville; he
6grew up actively involved in soccer into high school and was a
7graduate of O'Fallon High School, Class of 2006; and
 
8    WHEREAS, He was an employee of the O'Fallon Schnucks and
9was a member of the United Food and Commercial Workers, Local
10881; he was a very avid hunter and fisherman and his biggest
11joy was bagging an 11 point buck during deer season; he was
12also a member of the Bass Masters Fishing Club and the National
13Rifle Association; and
 
14    WHEREAS, He was preceded in death by his paternal
15grandparents, Harvey and Elizabeth Krohn; his maternal
16grandmother, "Maggie" Billups; his maternal great-grandmother,
17Mildred D. Fix; his great uncle, Lyle E. Fix; and his cousin,
18Jeff Thouvenot; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Chad Krohn is survived by his parents, Timothy W.
20and Tina R., nee Billups, Krohn; his brothers, Lance Corporal
21Brent D. Krohn and Jared C. Krohn; his maternal grandfather,

1Edward A. Billups; his maternal great-grandfather, Raymond G.
2Fix Sr.; his aunts and uncles, Michelle (Donnie) Spiller, Annie
3(Tim) Carriel, Bambi Eilers, Cindy Krohn, Ron (Jean) Thouvenot,
4and Jim (JoNell) Krohn; his great-uncle, Sonny Krohn; his
5cousins, Erik and Sean Spiller, Brendan, Caleb, and Maggie
6Carriel, Alyssa Eilers, Kyle Berry, Jason and Lindsay Fix,
7Michael Krohn, Allison (Andy) Jackson, Sean (Siobhan)
8Thouvenot, Michelle Thouvenot, Zachary Thouvenot, and Brian
9(Carrie) Thouvenot; his one special nephew, Aiden Sorrell; his
10buddies for life, Bill Ernst, Matt King, Jared Gustavison,
11Haley Donnigan, Zach Brann, Ryan Murray, Zach Quirin, Bobby
12Gunter, Ben Adams, Katie Stawarski, Ali Hedrick, and Logan
13Greene; and his many other dear friends, co-workers, and
14extended family members; therefore, be it
 
15    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL
16ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
17his family and friends, the passing of Chad Krohn; and be it
18further
 
19    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
20presented to the family of Chad Krohn as a symbol of our
21sincere sympathy.
