SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

 

 Appropriates $20,000,000 from the Department of Human Services Community Services Fund to the Department of Human Services for grants and administrative expenses associated with the Department's rebalancing efforts and in support of the Department's efforts to expand home and community-based services, including rebalancing and transition costs associated with compliance and consent decrees. Effective immediately.

    AN ACT concerning appropriations.

 

        Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

 

    Section 5. The sum of $20,000,000, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Department of Human Services Community Services Fund to the Department of Human Services for grants and administrative expenses associated with the Department's rebalancing efforts pursuant to the Department of Human Services Act and in support of the Department's efforts to expand home and community-based services, including rebalancing and transition costs associated with compliance and consent decrees.

 

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon becoming law.
