SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

 

Appropriates $2,700,000 to the Department of Public Health from the General Revenue Fund for grants and administrative expenses associated with Diabetes Prevention and Control. Appropriates $250,000 to the Department of Public Health from the Diabetes Research Checkoff Fund for Diabetes Research. Effective immediately.

    AN ACT concerning appropriations.

 

        Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

 

    Section 5. The sum of $2,700,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Public Health for grants and administrative expenses associated with Diabetes Prevention and Control.

 

    Section 10. The sum of $250,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Diabetes Research Checkoff Fund to the Department of Public Health for Diabetes Research.

 

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon becoming law.
