        Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

    Section 20.  The amount of $200,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Illinois State Board of Education for all costs associated with implementation of the State Board of Education Strategic Plan.

 

    Section 25.  The following named amounts, or so much thereof as may be necessary, are appropriated to the Illinois State Board of Education for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2012:

    Section 30.  The amount of $27,400,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Illinois State Board of Education for Student Assessments, including Bilingual Assessments.

 

    Section 35.  The amount of $2,000,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Illinois State Board of Education for all costs associated with Standards, Materials, and Training for Teachers

 

    Section 40.  The amount of $184,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Illinois State Board of Education for all costs associated with Educator Misconduct Investigations.

 

    Section 45.  The following named amounts, or so much thereof as may be necessary, are appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Illinois State Board of Education for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2012:

    Section 15.  In addition to any other amounts appropriated for such purposes, the following named amounts, or so much thereof as may be necessary, are appropriated from the State Board of Education Federal Department of Education Fund, pursuant to the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, to the Illinois State Board of Education for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2012:

    Section 20.  The amount of $600,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the School Infrastructure Fund to the Illinois State Board of Education for its ordinary and contingent expenses.

 

    Section 25.  The amount of $1,400,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Temporary Relocation Expenses Revolving Grant Fund for use by the State Board of Education as provided in Section 2-3.77 of the School Code.

 

     Section 30.  The amount of $5,000,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Teacher Certificate Fee Revolving Fund to the Illinois State Board of Education for Teacher Certificates Processing.

 

    Section 35.  The amount of $2,208,900, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Teacher Certificate Institute Fund to the Illinois State Board of Education for Teacher Certificates.

 

    Section 40.  The amount of $8,484,800, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the State Board of Education Special Purpose Trust Fund to the State Board of Education for expenditures by the Board in accordance with grants, gifts or donations that the Board has received or may receive from any source, public or private, in support of projects that are within the lawful powers of the Board.

 

    Section 45.  The amount of $7,015,200, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the State Board of Education Special Purpose Trust Fund to the State Board of Education for its ordinary and contingent expenses.

 

    Section 50.  The amount of $200,000, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the After School Rescue Fund to the State Board of Education for its ordinary and contingent expenses.

 

    Section 55.  The amount of $23,780,300, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the State Board of Education Federal Department of Education Fund to the Illinois State Board of Education for Student Assessments.

 

ARTICLE 3

 

    Section 1. The sum of $2,702,278,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Common School Fund to the Teachers' Retirement System of the State of Illinois for the State's contribution, as provided by law.

 

    Section 5. The sum of $1,200,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Education Assistance Fund to the Teachers' Retirement System of the State of Illinois for additional costs due to the establishment of minimum retirement allowances pursuant to Sections 16-136.2 and 16-136.3 of the Illinois Pension Code, as amended.

 

    Section 10.  The sum of $120,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Common School Fund to the Illinois Teachers’ Retirement System for the employer contributions required by the State as an employer of teachers described under subsection (e) of Section 16-158 of the Illinois Pension Code.

 

    Section 15. The amount of $10,449,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Public School Teachers’ Pension and Retirement Fund of Chicago for the state’s contribution for retirement contributions under Section 17-127 of the Illinois Pension Code for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2012.

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2012.
