AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 411 




2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 411 by replacing 
3everything after the enacting clause with the following:

 
4    "Section 5. The Department of Labor Law of the
Civil 
5Administrative Code of Illinois is amended  by adding Section 
61505-210 as follows:
 
7    (20 ILCS 1505/1505-210 new)
8    Sec. 1505-210. Funds. The Department has the authority to 
9apply for, accept, receive, expend, and administer on behalf of 
10the State any grants, gifts, bequests, loans, indirect cost 
11reimbursements, funds, or anything else of value made available 
12to the Department from any source for any purpose deemed 
13appropriate by the Director of Labor in administering the 
14responsibilities of the Department.  Any federal funds received 
15by the Department pursuant to this Section shall be deposited 
16in a trust fund with the State Treasurer and held and disbursed

1by him or her in accordance with the  Treasurer as Custodian of 
2Funds Act, provided that such moneys shall be used only for the 
3purposes for which they are contributed and any balance 
4remaining shall be returned to the contributor.  The Department 
5is authorized to promulgate such rules and enter into such 
6contracts as it may deem necessary in carrying out the 
7provisions of this Section.
 

8    Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon 
9becoming law.".
