    Amends the Department of Public Health Act. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning violations of the Department's rules and regulations.

1    AN ACT concerning State government.
 
2    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
 
4    Section 5. The Department of Public Health Act is amended
5by changing Section 8.1 as follows:
 
6    (20 ILCS 2305/8.1)  (from Ch. 111 1/2, par. 24)
7    Sec. 8.1. Whoever violates or refuses to obey any rule or
8regulation of the the Department of Public Health shall be
9deemed guilty of a Class A misdemeanor. The Director of Public
10Health shall institute prosecutions and proceedings for
11violation of the rules and regulations adopted by the
12Department of Public Health, provided that he may designate a
13local board of health or local health officer to institute
14prosecutions or proceedings for violation of those rules and
15regulations adopted by the Department. Each State's Attorney
16shall prosecute all persons in his county violating or refusing
17to obey the rules and regulations of the Department of Public
18Health. All fines or judgments collected or received shall be
19paid to the County Treasurer of the county in which prosecution
20is conducted.
