| 1 | AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 930

| 2 | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 930 by replacing | ||||||
| 3 | everything after the enacting clause with the following:

| 4 | "Section 5. The State Finance Act is amended by adding | ||||||
| 5 | Section 8.56 as follows: | ||||||
| 6 | (30 ILCS 105/8.56 new) | ||||||
| 7 | Sec. 8.56. Motorcycle-only roadside checkpoints. A law | ||||||
| 8 | enforcement agency of this State or a political subdivision of | ||||||
| 9 | this State may not accept federal funding the purpose of which | ||||||
| 10 | is to establish motorcycle-only roadside checkpoints.
| ||||||
| 11 | Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon | ||||||
| 12 | becoming law.".
