| 1 | AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 1073

| 2 | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 1073 by replacing | ||||||
| 3 | lines 22 and 23 on page 1 and all of page 2 with the following: | ||||||
| 4 | "(d) Perpetual harassment does not include: | ||||||
| 5 | (1) an exercise of the right to free speech or assembly | ||||||
| 6 | that is otherwise lawful; | ||||||
| 7 | (2) picketing occurring at the workplace that is | ||||||
| 8 | otherwise lawful and arises out of a bona fide labor | ||||||
| 9 | dispute, including any controversy concerning wages, | ||||||
| 10 | salaries, hours, working conditions or benefits, including | ||||||
| 11 | health and welfare, sick leave, insurance, and pension or | ||||||
| 12 | retirement provisions, the making or maintaining of | ||||||
| 13 | collective bargaining agreements, and the terms to be | ||||||
| 14 | included in those agreements; or | ||||||
| 15 | (3) monitoring or attending to compliance with public | ||||||
| 16 | or worker safety laws, wage and hour requirements, or other | ||||||
| 17 | statutory requirements by any individual or | ||||||
| 18 | organization.".
