HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are pleased to congratulate the members of the 
4Rochester Rockets varsity football team on the occasion of 
5winning the IHSA Class 4A State Football Tournament; and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, Ably led by senior running back Colten Glazebrook, 
7the Rochester Rockets defeated the Rock Island Alleman Pioneers 
824-7 to claim victory at the IHSA Class 4A State Football 
9Tournament; the team ended their season with a phenomenal 14-0 
10record; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, The members of the Rochester Rockets are John

7    WHEREAS, The members of the Rochester Rockets serve as  
8models of hard work, integrity, and dedication for the people 
9of the State of Illinois; therefore, be it
  
 
10    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
11NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
12we congratulate the members of the Rochester Rockets varsity 
13football team on their victory and wish them continued success 
14and happiness in the future; and be it further
  
 
15    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
16presented to Rochester Rockets head coach Derek Leonard as a 
17symbol of our esteem and respect.
