    Amends the Property Tax Code. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning subpoenas of the Property Tax Appeal Board.

1    AN ACT concerning revenue.
 
2    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
 
4    Section 5. The Property Tax Code is amended by changing
5Section 16-175 as follows:
 
6    (35 ILCS 200/16-175)
7    Sec. 16-175. Subpoenas. The The Chairman of the Property
8Tax Appeal Board or his or her designee may issue subpoenas
9which shall be served by any person lawfully authorized to
10serve a subpoena under the laws of the State of Illinois. In
11case of disobedience to a subpoena, the Board may petition any
12circuit court of the State for an order requiring the
13attendance and testimony of witnesses. Witnesses attending any
14hearing held by the Property Tax Appeal Board, pursuant to any
15subpoena, shall be paid the same fees and mileage that are paid
16witnesses in the circuit courts of the State.
