| 1 | | AN ACT concerning courts.
|
| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:
|
| 4 | | Section 5. The Supreme Court Building Act is amended by |
| 5 | | changing Section 8 as follows:
|
| 6 | | (705 ILCS 15/8) (from Ch. 37, par. 24a)
|
| 7 | | Sec. 8.
After the
the completion of the building herein |
| 8 | | specified, it shall be
devoted to the uses of the Department of |
| 9 | | Justice of the State of Illinois,
and be occupied by the |
| 10 | | Supreme Court, the Attorney General, with his
assistants, the |
| 11 | | State law library, the Appellate Court for the Fourth
Judicial |
| 12 | | District, and the other branches of the Department of Justice |
| 13 | | of
the State now existing or which may hereafter be created. |
| 14 | | The care, custody and control of the building, when |
| 15 | | completed, shall be
vested in the Supreme Court.
