    Amends the Code of Criminal Procedure of 1963. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning a judgment for costs of the prosecution.

1    AN ACT concerning criminal law.
 
2    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
 
4    Section 5. The Code of Criminal Procedure of 1963 is
5amended by changing Section 124A-5 as follows:
 
6    (725 ILCS 5/124A-5)
7    Sec. 124A-5. Judgment for costs of prosecution. When a
8person person is convicted of an offense under a statute, or at
9common law, the court shall enter judgment that the offender
10pay the costs of the prosecution. The costs shall include
11reasonable costs incurred by the Sheriff for serving arrest
12warrants, for picking up the offender from a county other than
13the one in which he or she was convicted, and for picking up
14the offender from a location outside the State of Illinois
15pursuant either to his or her extradition or to his or her
16waiver of extradition.
