SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Kayla N. Stacey of Peoria, who passed
4away on August 11, 2011; and
 
5    WHEREAS, She was born on February 27, 1983, in Peoria, to
6Duane Stacey and Camilla Kellerstrass; and
 
7    WHEREAS, She was an artist who loved to paint; she enjoyed
8music, reading, traveling, and was an avid baker; and
 
9    WHEREAS, She will be remembered for her love of children,
10family, and friends and how she could always make a person
11smile; she was the best winker, a compassionate listener who
12never passed judgment, and was known as a good friend and a
13free spirit; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Kayla Stacey is survived by her mother, Camilla
15Kellerstrass; her sister, Korinna Kellerstrass; her maternal
16grandmother, Shirley Kellerstrass; and several aunts, uncles,
17and cousins; therefore, be it
 
18    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL
19ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
20her family and friends, the passing of Kayla Stacey; and be it
