SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Richard F. "Dick" Quigley, who passed
4away on August 11, 2011; and
 
5    WHEREAS, He was a lifelong farmer and resident of the
6Wilmington area, a Chicago Cubs fan, and an expert at the gift
7of gab; and
 
8    WHEREAS, He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather,
9who doted upon his family and grandchildren; and
 
10    WHEREAS, He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin
11and Mary (nee McCormick); his brother, Marvin J. Quigley Jr.;
12and his father-in-law, Arthur Residori; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Richard Quigley is survived by his loving wife of
1440 years JoAnn (nee Residori) Quigley; his children, Theresa,
15Matthew (Rhonda), Patrick (Tracy), Margaret (Robert) Gabriel,
16Kathryn (Craig) Long, and Jaclyn Quigley; his grandchildren,
17Kasey, Mitchell, Anna, Emily, Madison, Natalie, James, Nicci,
18Gavin, Braden, and Baby Long due in November; his brothers,
19Michael (Patricia), Paul, and William Quigley; his sister,
20Irene (Lawrence) Walsh; his uncle, Timothy McCormick; his
21mother-in-law, Anna Mae Residori; his sisters-in-law, Beverly

1(Michael) Hogan and Mary (Saul) Paulius; as well as numerous
2nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; therefore, be it
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL
4ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
5his family and friends, the passing of Richard Quigley; and be
6it further
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
8presented to the family of Richard Quigley as a symbol of our
9sincere sympathy.
