SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Nancy L. Bearce of Washington, who passed
4away on October 13, 2011; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Nancy Bearce was born on February 24, 1935, in
6Peoria; her parents were Ralph and Garnet Martin Lorber; she
7married John H. Bearce on July 26, 1958, at St. Mary's
8Cathedral in Peoria; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Nancy Bearce was a member of numerous
10organizations, including the Easter Seals House of Dreams and
11on the Eureka College Advisory Board; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Nancy Bearce was a member of St. Patrick's
13Catholic Church in Washington; she was also active in the
14Cursillo movement; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Nancy Bearce enjoyed cooking; she also enjoyed a
16good game of any kind, but was passionate for a good game of
17golf; she scored 2 holes-in-one throughout her time on the golf
18course; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Nancy Bearce was preceded in death by her
20son-in-law, David Mello; her sister, Doris McIlvaney; and her

1brother, Robert Lorber; and
 
2    WHEREAS, Nancy Bearce is survived by her loving husband;
3her daughters, Amy Bearce, Suzie (Robert) Pschirrer, and Jodi
4Bearce-Mello; her grandchildren, Haley Pschirrer, Lauren
5Pschirrer, Lauren Mello, and Korrine Mello; her
6great-granddaughter, Adrianna Marie Mello; and her sister,
7June Haslett; therefore, be it
 
8    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL
9ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
10her family and friends, the passing of Nancy L. Bearce; and be
11it further
 
12    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
13presented to the family of Nancy Bearce as an expression of our
14sympathy.
