SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Vincent G. Volpe of Aurora, who passed
4away on November 7, 2011; and
 
5    WHEREAS, He was born September 4, 1938 in Chicago; and
 
6    WHEREAS, He was the driving force in planning the future of
7the Aurora Sportsman Club; and
 
8    WHEREAS, He was known for his smile and sense of humor; and
 
9    WHEREAS, He was preceded in death by his parents, Mildred
10and Paul Volpe; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Vincent Volpe is survived by his wife, Geraldine
12Volpe; his children, Deborah Volpe, Vincent Paul Volpe, and
13Karen Volpe; his brother, John (Barb) Volpe; his sisters, Joy
14Adams and Rosemary (Gary) Jones; his brother-in-law, Tony
15Stasney; and many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
 
16    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL
17ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
18his family and friends, the passing of Vincent Volpe; and be it
