SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Aaron R. Jacobs of McHenry, who passed
4away on February 2, 2012; and
 
5    WHEREAS, He was born on November 18, 1951, in Sandwich, to
6the late Armand and Ann (Turner) Jacobs; on August 26, 1972, he
7married Deborah Walper in Oswego; and
 
8    WHEREAS, He recently retired and enjoyed being a "snowbird"
9in Sarasota, Florida; he enjoyed spending time with his family,
10especially his grandchildren; he was a member of Faith
11Presbyterian Church; and
 
12    WHEREAS, He enjoyed playing golf, traveling, and spending
13mornings on the beach; some of his most cherished times were
14coaching his son's baseball teams, and then sharing the
15coaching experience with his son while coaching his grandson;
16he and his daughter shared the love of the Chicago White Sox,
17and loved watching the games together; and
 
18    WHEREAS, He will be remembered as a kind and generous man
19who always had a positive outlook on life and a smile on his
20face; and

1    WHEREAS, He was preceded in death by his father and mother;
2his mother-in-law, Joann Walper; his aunt, Lee Jacobs; and his
3brother-in-law, Brad Walper; and
 
4    WHEREAS, Aaron Jacobs is survived by his wife, Debbie; his
5children, Tim (Carrie) Jacobs and Sarah Jacobs; his
6grandchildren, Drew, Cheyenne, Morgan, and Tyler; his
7father-in-law, Robert Walper; his brother, Allan (Katy)
8Jacobs; his brother-in-law, Steven Walper; his sister-in-law,
9Sheri (Dave) Musser; his nieces, Sayah Jacobs, Amy (Mike) Reda,
10and Nicole Musser; and his nephews, Matthew and Mark Musser;
11therefore, be it
 
12    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL
13ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
14his family and friends, the passing of Aaron Jacobs; and be it
15further
 
16    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
17presented to the family of Aaron Jacobs as a symbol of our
18sincere sympathy.
