SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Mark A. Glassgow, who passed away on
4March 23, 2012; and
 
5    WHEREAS, He was born on February 23, 1968; he graduated
6from Fremd High School and Eastern Illinois University; and
 
7    WHEREAS, He served in the United States Navy for 3 years
8aboard the aircraft carrier USS John F. Kennedy; and
 
9    WHEREAS, He worked in finance and banking in Charleston and
10Champaign; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Mark Glassgow was the proud father of Mark D.,
12Sophie, and Mia Glassgow and former husband of their mother,
13Liz Glassgow; he was the loving son of Judy, nee Gureno, and
14the late Bill Glassgow, Jr.; the dearest brother of Matthew
15(Ann) Glassgow, Lisa (Chris) Dallavo, and John Glassgow; the
16cherished uncle of Thomas and Katie Glassgow and Olivia and Ava
17Dallavo; the fond nephew of Nancy (Reed) Cooper, Mary Ann (the
18late Augie) Gureno, and Mary Jo (the late Ray) Randall; he is
19also survived by several cousins and his loving girlfriend,
20Mary Potter; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
3his family and friends, the passing of Mark Glassgow; and be it
4further
 
5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
6presented to the family of Mark Glassgow as a symbol of our
7sincere sympathy.
