SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Louis Jerome Wannemacher of Bloomington,
4who passed away on May 11, 2012; and
 
5    WHEREAS, He was born August 8, 1931, in Bloomington, the
6son of Louis and Minnie Gielow Wannemacher; he married Patricia
7Colleen O'Neil on February 5, 1951; and
 
8    WHEREAS, He was an International Brotherhood of Electrical
9Workers (IBEW) Local 197 electrician and very proud of the pin
10signifying 50 years of membership; he attended Bradley
11University in Peoria; he studied electrical engineering and
12began his electrical career at D&H Electric in Bloomington; and
 
13    WHEREAS, In 1960, together with his wife, Pat, he founded
14Wannemacher Electric, a local electrical contracting firm that
15served many area customers; he enjoyed his family, retirement
16in Florida, gardening, and preparing and serving fine food; and
 
17    WHEREAS, He was preceded in death by his parents; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Louis Wannemacher is survived by his wife,
19Patricia; his children, Steve (Deb) Wannemacher, John (Sally)
20Wannemacher, Jo Ann (Mike) Reidy, and Karen (Brett) Arseneault;

1his grandchildren, Allison (Matt) Hannam, Sarah Wannemacher,
2Nick (Niki) Wannemacher, Audra Wannemacher, Joe (Brittney)
3Reidy, Bill (Melissa) Reidy, Peter Arseneault, and Maggie
4Arseneault; and his great-grandchildren, Kate Hannam, Molly
5Wannemacher, Brylee Reidy, and Madisyn Turner; therefore, be it
 
6    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL
7ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
8his family and friends, the passing of Louis Wannemacher; and
9be it further
 
10    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
11presented to the family of Louis Wannemacher as a symbol of our
12sincere sympathy.
