SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of John Darrell "JD" Krmpotich of Johnston
4City, who passed away on July 9, 2012; and
 
5    WHEREAS, John Krmpotich was born on August 9, 1960, in
6Christopher; his parents were John and Margaret Annette
7(Kellerman) Krmpotich; he married Marlene Yotkewich on May 21,
81994, in Stiritz; and
 
9    WHEREAS, John Krmpotich earned his master's degree in
10behavioral health from Southern Illinois University in
11Carbondale; and
 
12    WHEREAS, John Krmpotich retired after 18 years of service
13as Director of Youth Service at Franklin-Williamson Human
14Services; and
 
15    WHEREAS, John Krmpotich was a member of Aldersgate United
16Methodist Church in Marion; and
 
17    WHEREAS, John Krmpotich enjoyed gardening and loved to
18share the fruits of his labor with his family and friends; he
19also enjoyed spending time outdoors with his son, Jacob,
20photography, and spending time with his family; and

1    WHEREAS, John Krmpotich was preceded in death by his
2parents; and
 
3    WHEREAS, John Krmpotich is survived by his wife, Marlene;
4his son, Jacob Miles Krmpotich; his sisters, Margaret "Dink"
5Ball and her husband, Lloyd, and Kathy Pinkston and her
6husband, Charles; his father and mother-in-law, Jim and Mary
7Yotkewich; his sister-in-law, Minta Keirn and her husband,
8Doug; his brother-in-law, Todd Yotkewich and his wife, Melisa;
9his nephews, Danny Ball and Ryan Pinkston and his wife, Lisa;
10his nieces, Stacy Ball, Shannon Pace and her husband, Chris,
11and Michelle McCabe and her husband, Chris; and his many
12great-nieces and great-nephews; therefore, be it
 
13    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL
14ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
15his family and friends, the passing of John Darrell "JD"
16Krmpotich; and be it further
 
17    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
18presented to the family of John Krmpotich as an expression of
19our sympathy.
