SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of John "Jack" Hepp of North Aurora, who
4passed away on November 6, 2012; and
 
5    WHEREAS, John Hepp was born on December 31, 1925 in
6Chicago; his parents were Peter and Eileen (Ewers) Hepp; and
 
7    WHEREAS, John Hepp served his country during World War II
8in the United States Army Air Corps in the Pacific Theater; he
9later served in the United States Air Force during the Korean
10Conflict; and
 
11    WHEREAS, John Hepp served as an accountant with
12Richard-Wilcox in Aurora for over 35 years; and
 
13    WHEREAS, John Hepp was a member of the Aurora Bowling Hall
14of Fame; he was also a member of the Loyal Order of Moose-Lodge
15#400 in Aurora, a cofounder of the Auroraland Auto Restorers
16Club, a member of the Institute of Management Accountants, a
17life member of Montgomery Post #7452 VFW, a Past Commander of
18American Legion Post #111, and a member and repairer of antique
19clocks at the Old Timers Clock Clinic; and
 
20    WHEREAS, John Hepp was preceded in death by his parents;

1his daughter, Marilyn Wilkins; and his brothers, Russell and
2Gerald Hepp; and
 
3    WHEREAS, John Hepp is survived his wife, Mary Therese Hepp;
4his children, Theresa M. (Tom) Alfredson, John (Titi) Hepp,
5Rita (Tim) Murphy, Nancy Hepp, and James (Kate) Hepp; his 12
6grandchildren; his brother, Thomas (Beatrice) Hepp; his
7sisters, Margaret Ellen Bader and Barbara (Gordon) Meyers; and
8his many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
 
9    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL
10ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
11his family and friends, the passing of John "Jack" Hepp; and be
12it further
 
13    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
14presented to the family of John Hepp as an expression of our
15sympathy.
