Amends the Department of Professional Regulation Law of the
Civil Administrative Code of Illinois. Provides that whenever the Department issues a copy of a license or certificate and the holder of the license or certificate is required to display it in his or her place of business, the Department shall provide a license or certificate that is printed without including the home address of the licensee or certificate holder.

| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:
|
| 4 | | Section 5. The Department of Professional Regulation Law of |
| 5 | | the
Civil Administrative Code of Illinois is amended by adding |
| 6 | | Section 2105-45 as follows:
|
| 7 | | (20 ILCS 2105/2105-45 new) |
| 8 | | Sec. 2105-45. Licenses and certificates for display. |
| 9 | | Starting on the effective date of this amendatory Act of the |
| 10 | | 98th General Assembly, whenever the Department issues a copy of |
| 11 | | a license or certificate and the holder of the license or |
| 12 | | certificate is required to display it in his or her place of |
| 13 | | business, the Department shall provide a license or certificate |
| 14 | | that is printed without including the home address of the |
| 15 | | licensee or certificate holder. Nothing in this Section affects |
| 16 | | any duty to display licenses or certificates in the place of |
| 17 | | business.
