| 1 | AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 5891

| 2 | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 5891 on page 2 by | ||||||
| 3 | replacing line 20 with the following:

| 4 | "conspicuously in a manner that is readily apparent to the | ||||||
| 5 | viewer of the disclosure, to all Illinois members that the | ||||||
| 6 | Internet dating"; and
| ||||||
| 7 | on page 3 by replacing lines 5 through 10 with the following:
| ||||||
| 8 | "member signs up. A disclosure under this subsection shall be | ||||||
| 9 | in bold, capital letters in at least 12-point type."; and
| ||||||
| 10 | on page 3 by replacing lines 15 through 26 with the following:
| ||||||
| 11 | "clearly and conspicuously in a manner that is readily apparent | ||||||
| 12 | to the viewer of the disclosure, to all Illinois members that | ||||||
| 13 | the Internet dating service, Internet child care service, | ||||||
| 14 | Internet senior care service, or Internet home care service | ||||||
| 15 | conducts a criminal background screening on each member prior | ||||||
| 16 | to permitting an Illinois member to communicate with another | ||||||
| |||||||
| |||||||
| 1 | member. The disclosure shall be provided on the website pages | ||||||
| 2 | used when an Illinois member signs up. A disclosure under this | ||||||
| 3 | subsection shall be in bold, capital letters in at least | ||||||
| 4 | 12-point type.".
