HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are pleased to congratulate Andrea 
4Ramirez-Justin, Vice-President of Old Plank Trail Community 
5Bank, on being selected as the winner of the 2013 Women in 
6Business/Leadership Award by Moraine Valley Community College; 
7and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, The Women in Business/Leadership Award reflects a 
9woman of influence in business who supports the community and 
10others and is a leading female professional who excels as a 
11mentor, inspires, and influences others to achieve results; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Andrea Ramirez-Justin has served as the 
13Vice-President of Old Plank Trail Community Bank since March 
142007; previously, she was Assistant Vice-President at First 
15National Bank from October 1986 to March 2007; and
  
 
  
16    WHEREAS, Andrea Ramirez-Justin currently serves as the 
172013-14 President of the Mokena Chamber of Commerce; she has 
18previously served on the Moraine Valley Community College Board 
19of Trustees (August 2012-May 2013) and is now a Foundation 
20Board Member for the college; she earned her master's degree 
21from the University of Wisconsin-Madison Graduate School of 
22Banking and her bachelor's degree from Northern Illinois

1University in DeKalb; and
  
 
2    WHEREAS, The 2013 Women in Business/Leadership Award will 
3be presented to Andrea Ramirez-Justin at the 19th Annual 
4Business Champion Awards - Stars of the Southwest Suburbs - on 
5November 6, 2013 at the Moraine Business and Conference Center; 
6therefore, be it
  
 
7    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
8NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
9we congratulate Andrea Ramirez-Justin on receiving the 2013 
10Women in Business/Leadership Award from the Moraine Valley 
11Community College; and be it further
  
 
12    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
13presented to Andrea Ramirez-Justin as an expression of our 
14esteem and respect.
