2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
3 | | Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Ralph |
4 | | Edwin Wilson of Bellevue, who passed away on November 18, 2013; |
5 | | and
|
6 | | WHEREAS, Ralph Wilson was born on December 26, 1932, in |
7 | | Beebe, Arkansas; his parents were Jess Earl and Delpha May (nee |
8 | | Kelly) Wilson; he married Mary JoAnn Howell on July 11, 1953 in |
9 | | Beebe, Arkansas; and
|
10 | | WHEREAS, Ralph Wilson worked at Broderick and Bascom Rope |
11 | | Company in Bartonville; he subsequently worked for the Village |
12 | | of Bellevue Street Department for over 20 years until his |
13 | | retirement in 1997; he was also the owner and operator of Ralph |
14 | | Wilson Excavating; and
|
15 | | WHEREAS, Ralph Wilson served as the mayor of the Village of |
16 | | Bellevue from 1997 to 2009 and from April of 2013 until his |
17 | | passing; he also served on the Bellevue Village Board for 2 |
18 | | years; and
|
19 | | WHEREAS, Ralph Wilson was a member of the Hiram Walker Club |
20 | | in Middle Grove; and
|

1 | | WHEREAS, Ralph Wilson enjoyed fishing, camping, and |
2 | | spending time with his family; and |
3 | | WHEREAS, Ralph Wilson was preceded in death by his wife, |
4 | | Mary; his parents; his grandson; his great-grandson; and his |
5 | | brother; and
|
6 | | WHEREAS, Ralph Wilson is survived by his daughters, Barb |
7 | | Pshebelski, Kathy (Vernon) Huff, and Carlene (Daniel) Cook; his |
8 | | sons, Edwin (Lurla) Wilson, Don (Jean) Wilson, Mark (Dawn) |
9 | | Wilson, Bobby Wilson, and Steve (Jenny) Wilson; his 18 |
10 | | grandchildren; his 24 great-grandchildren; his brother, Hubert |
11 | | Eugene Wilson; and his sister, Mildred Hough; therefore, be it

12 | | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
13 | | NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |
14 | | we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of |
15 | | Ralph Edwin Wilson; and be it further
|
16 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
17 | | presented to the family of Ralph Wilson as an expression of our |
18 | | sympathy.
