SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Kathleen Pluth; and
 
4    WHEREAS, Kathleen Pluth graduated from Marquette
5University in 1964; she subsequently began her teaching career
6and raising her family; in 1994, she received a master's degree
7from Roosevelt University, which enabled her to mentor and work
8with women in crisis until her retirement in the fall of 2012;
9and
 
10    WHEREAS, Kathleen Pluth was involved at St. Raymond's for
11over 40 years and touched the lives of many; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Kathleen Pluth was a talented artist and
13accomplished cook who loved to entertain; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Kathleen Pluth was preceded in death by her
15parents, Patricia and John Scotellaro; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Kathleen Pluth was the beloved wife of Rick Pluth;
17the loving mother of Katie (Joe) Wawak, Patrick Pluth, and
18Chrissy (Mark) Azman; the devoted grandmother of Jacob, Abby,
19and Vesna; and the cherished sister of Jack (Pat) Scotellaro,
20Tim Scotellaro, and Kevin (Sharon) Scotellaro; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
3her family and friends, the passing of Kathleen Pluth; and be
4it further
 
5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
6presented to the family of Kathleen Pluth as an expression of
7our sympathy.
