SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Andre' Lydell Bunton of Chicago, who
4passed away on July 18, 2013; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Andre' Bunton was born on October 7, 1975, in
6Chicago to Sonja "Terri" Bunton-Foster and Andre' Lydell
7Foster; he received his elementary education at Park Manor
8Elementary School in the Chicago Public School System,
9graduated from Thornton Township High School in Harvey, and
10studied business at South Suburban College; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Andre' Bunton worked for many years as a Special
12Service Technician for AT&T, where he developed his skills in
13the electrical and construction field; he was an experienced
14carpenter and started his own construction business, ALB
15Renovation Group; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Andre' Bunton began learning the restaurant
17business by working with his brother-in-law at Beggars Pizza
18beginning in 2009, was appointed manager of store operations,
19and later helped open the End Zone, where he served as the
20general manager and hospitality coordinator; and
 
21    WHEREAS, Andre' Bunton loved sports and enjoyed fishing,

1basketball, and football; he liked to entertain and have a good
2time; he was the life of the party and always could turn a room
3full of strangers into his friends; and
 
4    WHEREAS, Andre' Bunton is survived by his parents; his
5grandmother, DeLores Bunton; his children, Jaylan, Raven,
6Rashad, and Jacobi (Maisha); his sister, Nicole Harris (State
7Senator Napoleon Harris, III); his brother, Jordan Foster; his
8aunts, Judith Ross (John), Deborah Adams (Michael), and Latoya
9Haire (Christopher); his uncle, Kermit Foster; and a host of
10nieces, nephews, cousins, close relatives, and friends;
11therefore, be it
 
12    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL
13ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
14Andre' Lydell Bunton, and extend our sincere condolences to his
15family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
16further
 
17    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
18presented to the family of Andre' Bunton as an expression of
19our deepest sympathy.
