SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Wilesha Faye Clay, who passed away on
4September 2, 2013; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Wilesha Clay was born on July 25, 1968; her
6parents were Wayland, Sr. and Wilhelmenia Clay; and
 
7    WHEREAS, Wilesha Clay received her formal education in the
8Rock Island school system; she later attended Augustana College
9before transferring to Illinois State University, where she
10earned her bachelor's degree in hospital administration with a
11minor in communication; she subsequently earned her master's
12degree from Sangamon State University; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Wilesha Clay was a member of the Westside Church
14of Christ; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Wilesha Clay is survived by her parents, Wayland,
16Sr. and Wilhelmenia Clay; her brothers, Wayland, Jr. and
17William Clay; her god-daughter, Tarian Reeves; and her many
18aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends;
19therefore, be it
 
20    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL

1ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her
2family and friends, mourn the passing of Wilesha Faye Clay; and
3be it further
 
4    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
5presented to the family of Wilesha Clay as an expression of our
6sympathy.
