SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Edith Javorik of Aurora, who passed away
4on July 18, 2013; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Edith Javorik was born on January 26, 1932 in
6Hungary to Lajos and Gizella (nee Domonkos) Schinkovits; she
7and her husband, Thomas immigrated to the United States in
81957; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Edith Javorik had a Master's Degree in
10Aero-Photogrammetry; she was employed for many years with the
11City of Aurora as a civil engineer; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Edith Javorik enjoyed tennis and gardening and was
13a devoted grandmother; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Edith Javorik was preceded in death by her
15parents; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Edith Javorik is survived by her husband of 55
17years, Thomas; her daughter, Kathleen (Matthew) Rieser; her
18grandchildren, Ariana, Tomas, and Andrea Rieser; and her
19nephew, Alex Javorik; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
3Edith Javorik, and extend our sincere condolences to her
4family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
5further
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
7presented to the family of Edith Javorik as an expression of
8our deepest sympathy.
