SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Lawaine M. "Lou" Burnside of Waukegan, 
4who passed away on December 6, 2013; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Lawaine Burnside was born on July 2, 1944; she was 
6a graduate of Holy Child High School; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Lawaine Burnside worked as an office manager at 
8Frank's Glass for 34 years; she also served as a Reserve Deputy 
9for the Lake County Sheriff's Department; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Lawaine Burnside enjoyed gardening and spent 
11endless hours tending to her flowers; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Lawaine Burnside was preceded in death by her 
13father, Ralph Deimler, Sr., and her nephew, Jasen Deimler; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Lawaine Burnside was the loving mother of David 
15(Tania) Burnside and Amy Donar; the cherished grandmother of 
16Amanda, Allison, Anthony, Margaret, and Emily; the dear sister 
17of Ralph (Colleen) Deimler, Jr., Terri Deimler, Mark (Mary) 
18Deimler, Michael (Shannon) Deimler, and Mary Marcus; the aunt 
19of Ralph Deimler, III, Rebecca (Armando) Perez, and many other 
20nieces and nephews; she is also survived by her mother, Mildred

1Deimler; therefore, be it
  
 
2    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL 
3ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her 
4family and friends, mourn the passing of Lawaine M. "Lou" 
5Burnside; and be it further
  
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7presented to the family of Lawaine Burnside as an expression of 
8our sympathy.
