SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Evette M. Hunter; and
 
4    WHEREAS, Evette Hunter was born on March 27, 1976 in
5Chicago; her parents were Michael Lee and Terry Hunter; and
 
6    WHEREAS, Evette Hunter grew up in Chicago and attended
7Ralph J. Bunche Elementary School and Richards Vocational High
8School; she subsequently earned her G.E.D. in 2008; and
 
9    WHEREAS, In 2005, Evette Hunter professed her belief in
10Christ and joined New Calvary Missionary Baptist Church under
11the leadership of Pastor P.L. Redmond; she served faithfully in
12the Christian Women Job Corps; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Evette Hunter loved cooking, reading, dancing,
14and styling hair; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Evette Hunter was preceded in death by her 2
16siblings; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Evette Hunter is survived by her son, Dantrell
18Hunter; her mother; her sister, Tiffany Hunter; and her many
19cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her
3family and friends, mourn the passing of Evette M. Hunter; and
4be it further
 
5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
6presented to the family of Evette Hunter as an expression of
7our sympathy.
