SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of John B. Lazzaretto of Rockford, who
4passed away on June 6, 2014; and
 
5    WHEREAS, John Lazzaretto was born in Centerville, Iowa; his
6parents were George and Marguerita (nee Cora) Lazzaretto; and
 
7    WHEREAS, John Lazzaretto served his country as a member of
8the United States Army; and
 
9    WHEREAS, John Lazzaretto was employed for Laborer's Local
10#152 for 33 years; and
 
11    WHEREAS, John Lazzaretto was a member of the American
12Legion in Highland Park and Veterans of Foreign Wars in
13Highwood; and
 
14    WHEREAS, John Lazzaretto was preceded in death by his
15parents; brothers and sisters-in-law, Joseph (Rosanne)
16Lazzaretto and Valentine (Mary) Lazzaretto; sister and
17brothers-in-law, Mary (Bino) DalPonte and Rose (Martin)
18Tagliapietra; and a brother-in-law, Angelo Maddalon; and
 
19    WHEREAS, John Lazzaretto is survived by his wife, Angie

2Lazzaretto; 4 daughters, Jeanne (Steve) Roggensack, Lynn

4Morgan; a sister, Jennie Maddalon; 14 grandchildren, Kristen
5(Grant) Strom, Michael Lazzaretto, Brennan Lazzaretto, Luca
6Lazzaretto, Ellie Lazzaretto, Christian Roggensack, Jacob
7Roggensack, Lexi Roggensack, Dana (Khris) Griffis, Christa
8(Matt) Chase, Steven (Jennifer) Glover, Nicole (Jason)
9Kushner, Matthew Morgan, and Luke Morgan; 10
10great-grandchildren, Harley and Olivia Kushner, Nate and Lexie
11Kushner, Jonathan and Lela Glover, Gavin and Layla Strom, and
12Jacob and Connor Chase; and many nieces and nephews; therefore,

14    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL
15ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his
16family and friends, mourn the passing of John B. Lazzaretto;
17and be it further
 
18    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
19presented to the family of John Lazzaretto as an expression of
20our sympathy.
