AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 2038

    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 2038, AS AMENDED, with reference to page and line numbers of House Amendment No. 2, on page 24, by inserting immediately below line 3 the following:

"ARTICLE 10

    Section 10.  The amount of $150,000,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Budget Stabilization Fund to the Department of Corrections for ordinary and contingent expenses, but not including personal services.

    Section 20.  The sum of $25,000,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated to the Department of Human Services from the Budget Stabilization Fund for operational expenses, but not including personal services.

    Section 30.  The amount of $100,000,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Budget Stabilization Fund to the Office of the Governor to be directed to State agencies to be expended, in the discretion of and as determined by the Governor, upon written direction of the Governor to the Comptroller, for operational expenses, but not including personal services.

    Section 90. The appropriation authority granted in this Article is not subject to the provisions of Article 996 of this Act.".
