| 1 | AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 4425

| 2 | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 4425 as follows:

| 3 | on page 1, line 19, by replacing "notify a" with "notify the | ||||||
| 4 | geographically closest"; and | ||||||
| 5 | on page 1, line 20, after "Program", by inserting "within the | ||||||
| 6 | State"; and | ||||||
| 7 | on page 1, line 22, after the period, by inserting "If the | ||||||
| 8 | Department determines that a person or guardian is a member of | ||||||
| 9 | the Illinois National Guard, the Department shall also notify | ||||||
| 10 | the Office of the Adjutant General that there is an allegation | ||||||
| 11 | of abuse or neglect against the parent or guardian that is open | ||||||
| 12 | for investigation.".
