Amends the Illinois Marriage and Dissolution of Marriage Act. Provides that in proceedings involving the allocation of parental responsibilities, if there is an allegation of drug abuse made against a parent, the court shall order drug testing of the parent before issuing a final allocation judgment.

2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

4 | | Section 5. The Illinois Marriage and Dissolution of |
5 | | Marriage Act is amended by adding Section 603.11 as follows: |
6 | | (750 ILCS 5/603.11 new) |
7 | | Sec. 603.11. Allegations of parental drug use. In |
8 | | proceedings involving the allocation of parental |
9 | | responsibilities, if there is an allegation of drug abuse made |
10 | | against a parent, the court shall order drug testing of the |
