| 1 | AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 5576

| 2 | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 5576, AS AMENDED, on | ||||||
| 3 | page 7, immediately below line 5, by inserting
the following: | ||||||
| 4 | "(d) If a plan or issuer utilizes a network of providers, | ||||||
| 5 | nothing in this Section shall be construed to require coverage | ||||||
| 6 | or to prohibit the plan or issuer from imposing cost-sharing | ||||||
| 7 | for items or services described in this Section that are | ||||||
| 8 | provided or delivered by an out-of-network provider, unless the | ||||||
| 9 | plan or issuer does not have in its network a provider who is | ||||||
| 10 | able to or is willing to provide the applicable items or | ||||||
| 11 | services.".
