HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION 101

 
2    WHEREAS, The State Board of Education has filed its Report
3on Waiver of School Code Mandates, dated October 1, 2015, with
4the Senate, the House of Representatives, and the Secretary of
5State of Illinois as required by Section 2-3.25g of the School
6Code; therefore, be it
 
7    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
8NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, THE
9SENATE CONCURRING HEREIN, that each of the school district
10waiver appeal requests identified below by school district name
11and by the identifying number and subject area of the waiver
12request as summarized in the report filed by the State Board of
13Education is disapproved:
14        (1) Marquardt SD 15 - DuPage, WM300-6029-A (appeal),
15    transitional bilingual education;
16        (2) Barrington CUSD 200, Lake County, WM200-6027-A,
17    Illinois Kindergarten Individual Development Survey;
18        (3) Glencoe SD 35, Cook County, WM200-6034-A, Illinois
19    Kindergarten Individual Development Survey;
20        (4) Wilmette SD 39, Cook County, WM200-6058-A,
21    Illinois Kindergarten Individual Development Survey;
22        (5) Wauconda CUSD 118, Lake County, WM200-6061-A,
23    Illinois Kindergarten Individual Development Survey; and
24    be it further

1    RESOLVED, That the request made by Eswood CCSD 269 - Ogle
2with respect to non-resident tuition, identified in the report
3filed by the State Board of Education as request WM100-6062, is
4approved to claim average daily attendance for non-resident
5students for purposes of collecting general State aid, but
6disapproved in the ability to charge those non-resident
7students a reduced tuition cost of $2,500; and be it further
 
8    RESOLVED, That the request made by Indian Prairie CUSD 204 -
9 DuPage with respect to general State aid, identified in the
10report filed by the State Board of Education as request
11WM100-6088-1, is approved for 2 years and disapproved for the
12remaining 3 years; and be it further
 
13    RESOLVED, That the request made by Community Unit School
14District 300 - Kane with respect to instructional time,
15identified in the report filed by the State Board of Education
16as request WM100-6126-1, is approved for 2 years and
17disapproved for the remaining 3 years; and be it further
 
18    RESOLVED, That the remaining requests in the Report on
19Waiver of School Code Mandates are approved.
