SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Mary Lou Gleason of Springfield, who 
4passed away on November 10, 2015; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Mary Lou Gleason was born on October 22, 1941 in 
6Springfield; her parents were Aubrey and Lula Mae McCubbin 
7Cleaver; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Mary Lou Gleason lived in the Springfield area 
9throughout her life; she was employed with the Secretary of 
10State for more than 30 years; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Mary Lou Gleason enjoyed Bingo and visiting 
12casinos; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Mary Lou Gleason was preceded in death by her 
14parents; her stepfather, Thorton Ryder; her husbands, Harry 
15Rowland and Fred Gleason; her brothers, William and Frank 
16Cleaver; and her sister, Betty Hughes; and
  
 
17    WHEREAS, Mary Lou Gleason is survived by her children, Gary 
18Rowland, Cindy (Tom) Fitzgerald, Allan (Christina) Gleason, 
19Rick (Teri) Gleason, and Micheal Gleason; her grandchildren, 
20Regan and Keifer Fitzgerald and Heather, Andrew, Samantha,

1Adam, and Tristan Gleason; her brothers, Joe (Rosalie) Cleaver, 
2John Cleaver, and Richard (Jeanie) Cleaver; her sister, 
3Virginia Hartwig; and her many nieces and nephews; therefore, 
4be it
  
 
5    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
6ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her 
7family and friends, mourn the passing of Mary Lou Gleason; and 
8be it further
  
 
9    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
10presented to the family of Mary Lou Gleason as an expression of 
11our sympathy.
