| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of Richard Lee Weaver of Colona, who passed | ||||||
| 4 | away on September 24, 2016; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Richard Weaver was born in Moline to Richard and | ||||||
| 6 | Shirley Walsh Weaver on April 15, 1947; he attended Carbon | ||||||
| 7 | Cliff schools and graduated from United Township High School in | ||||||
| 8 | 1965; he served in the United States Air Force from 1966 to | ||||||
| 9 | 1970; he was stationed in Da Nang, Vietnam; he married Brooking | ||||||
| 10 | Cole in 1970; he later married Janet Struse in 1973; he later | ||||||
| 11 | married Karen Fuehring in 1986; and
| ||||||
| 12 | WHEREAS, Richard Weaver worked for 34 years with Sheet | ||||||
| 13 | Metal Workers Local 91 Q-C, and five years with Local 73 | ||||||
| 14 | Chicago; after retiring in 2005, he worked at various casinos | ||||||
| 15 | in the Quad-City area, most recently at Jumer's Casino; and
| ||||||
| 16 | WHEREAS, Richard Weaver was preceded in death by his | ||||||
| 17 | parents; his stepmother, Rachel Weaver; and his | ||||||
| 18 | brother-in-law, Robert Weinberg; and
| ||||||
| 19 | WHEREAS, Richard Weaver is survived by his children, Scott | ||||||
| 20 | (Theresa) Weaver, Beth (Frank) Lujan, and Kathy Weaver (Bob | ||||||
| 21 | Ziegler); his stepchildren, Robert (Stacy) Fuehring, Jeffrey | ||||||

| 12 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL | ||||||
| 13 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
| 14 | Richard Lee Weaver, and extend our sincere condolences to his | ||||||
| 15 | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | ||||||
| 16 | further

| 17 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
