Synopsis As Introduced
Creates the Funeral and Burial Pre-Arrangement Investigation Task Force to investigate and study the reasons for losses of the Pre-Need Funeral Trust Fund of the Illinois Funeral Directors and any and all other Funeral and Burial Pre-Need funding plans and investments offered in Illinois.

House Committee Amendment No. 1
Adds one member of the Task Force appointed by the State Comptroller and one member appointed by the Director of the Cemetery Care and Burial Trust Division of the State Comptroller's office.

House Committee Amendment No. 2
Resolves that the Funeral and Burial Pre-Arrangement Investigation Task Force take testimony from past and present Board members of the Illinois Funeral Directors Association regarding certain activities and policies of the Illinois Funeral Directors Association.

House Floor Amendment No. 4
Deletes everything after the heading. Creates the Funeral and Burial Pre-Arrangement Investigation Task Force to investigate and study the reasons for losses of the Pre-Need Funeral Trust Fund of the Illinois Funeral Directors and any and all other Funeral and Burial Pre-Need funding plans and investments offered in Illinois.
