Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Hotel Operators' Occupation Tax Act. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the short title.

Deletes everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Use Tax Act, the Service Use Tax Act, the Service Occupation Tax Act, and the Retailers' Occupation Tax Act. Exempts the following from taxation under the Acts: materials, replacement parts, and equipment purchased for use directly upon or for the modification, replacement, repair, or maintenance of aircraft, aircraft power plants, or aircraft accessories. Effective immediately.

Provides that materials, parts, equipment, components, and furnishings incorporated into or upon an aircraft for the modification, refurbishment, completion, replacement, repair, or maintenance of the aircraft are exempt from taxation under the Acts.
