Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Wildlife Code. Provides that the individual or organization that is responsible for holding an organized coonhound event with at least 25 coonhounds shall provide adjacent landowners written notice at least 30 days prior to the event. Provides that the notice shall be delivered by certified mail and shall include the name of the sanctioning individual or organization responsible for the organized coonhound event, the date or dates, the hours of the events, the locations the events are to be held and a valid, operational phone number. Provides that the coonhound event shall not exceed 14 consecutive days.
House Floor Amendment No. 2 Provides an exception for a local individual or organization responsible for organizing a coonhound event when a coonhound event involves only local organizers, same day registration, and the event reasonably expects to have fewer than 25 participants. Provides that the local organizers shall not be considered in violation of the provision if more than 25 participants are registered at the start of the event.
