Synopsis As Introduced Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code. Provides that specified vehicles used exclusively for the transportation and mixing of concrete, manufactured before or in the 2014 model year and first registered in Illinois before January 1, 2015, are allowed specified weights on specified numbers and configurations of axles. Provides that a 4-axle truck mixer registered as a special hauling vehicle is allowed 20,000 pounds on a single axle, 36,000 pounds on a series of 2 axles greater than 72 inches but not more than 96 inches, and 34,000 pounds when the distance between any series of 2 axles is greater than 40 inches but not more than 72 inches. Provides that, when the vehicle is operated on a designated highway other than an interstate highway, the bridge formula does not apply to any series of 3 axles.
