Synopsis As Introduced Amends the Illinois Governmental Ethics Act. Eliminates the requirement the county clerk must notify a person when his or her statement of economic interests is examined. Effective immediately.
House Committee Amendment No. 1 Deletes everything after the enacting clause. Reinserts House Bill 2455 with the following change: Removes the requirement that a person examining a statement of economic interests identify himself or herself and the reason for the examination. Effective immediately.
